Name: Howard Pike Title: Regional Director Marital Status: Married to Kathie since 1982. Children: Two: Jim and Esther. Both married. First Year With CSB: 1971 with Battalion 1085, West Island Baptist, Dorval (Montreal), Quebec. Favourite Books: Anything to do with creation, Canadian history, or natural science. Favourite Men in the Bible: David, Moses and Peter, but Peter more than others. Favourite Food: Potatoes: boiled, baked mashed and fried, but not scalloped (waste of a good potato). Favourite Bible Passage: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” combined with “not my will but Thine”. Favourite Activity: Fossil hunting anywhere and everywhere. |

Howard is CSB’s man on the West Coast of Canada, serving as Regional Director for British Columbia. He and his wife, Kathie, have two grown children and recently celebrated their son’s receiving the Herald of Christ, CSB’s highest honour. There is always something (more accurately several somethings!) going on for BC Brigade Units to be involved with: from the Tough Guys Weekend campout to Brigade Camp BC; from the Director’s Cup to the Kickoff with the BC Lions; from Brigademen Retreats to Noncom Conferences; and all kinds of other activities. He has been involved in CSB in one capacity or another for over 30 years. |

Kathie Pike Kathie has been Howard’s better half since Aug. 21, 1982, and has worked with him in their “tent-making” furnace repair business for over 20 years. This partnership has made Kathie an invaluable part of CSB in British Columbia. Kathie handles much of the mailing for CSB BC, proofreads most of Howard’s documents, and generally keeps CSB BC, and Howard, on track.

Kathie currently serves as a Girls Alive leader, has been a Pioneer Girls leader, and was a Pioneer Girl as a child.

Steve has wonderful stories of adventures with Brigade. He later served as a youth pastor and an assistant pastor. He also spent eight years with European Christian Mission. There are no “official” Area Staff Assistants (ASA’s) in BC, but several men have temporarily filled these voluntary roles as the situations required. It is hoped that in the 2010-11 season, ASA’s will be found for the Western Fraser Valley and the Okanagan-West Kootenay Areas. |

Joel Fiscus Board of Directors for CSB Canada asked Joel Fiscus to expand his ministry to include the Canadian staff. Joel is the National Field Staff Director and Director of Men's Ministry in the US, and now serves in supporting, encouraging and equipping our Regional Directors in Canada. |

Joel has been involved in CSB for most of his life, going through the program himself from Stockade through Battalion, achieving his Herald of Christ, then serving as a CSB leader, Brigade Chairman and in numerous CSB Camp roles. He has served for more than two-and-a-half decades as a pastor before recently accepting the call to helping us move forward as a staff team in the US and now throughout North America.
