Wilderness Adventure Race - 2010                      Link:

CSB Alberta is sponsoring a wilderness adventure race

- a men’s event. Teams of BC Brigademen are invited.

The race exposes young adult men to the unique ministry CSB has in local churches and the deep impact God makes when ordinary Christian guys invest their lives in the next generation.

Get a team of 4 young men together from your church and challenge them to live the adventure of being on mission for God!

Lower Mainland Noncom Conference - Brevet First Star

Noncoms from three Battalions got together for an intense abbreviated version of Leadership Trails First Star Achievement (much of which must be completed at home). Leaders grounded the young men in Personal Christian Skills, Memory Verses, Battalion Leadership Basics, Games, Paintball, great meals, then they challenged them with examples of men who have given their all for Jesus Christ. It was 27 hours of nonstop action. Congratulations to the Noncoms; thank you to the leaders.

Two Key Players Join the CSB Canada Staff Team

We couldn't be more excited to announce the addition of two new staff members to the CSB Canada Team.

“In February, Rick Cross joined us as our new Regional Director for Alberta. Rick brings a wonderful blend of business acumen and passion to this crucial role. He also serves with a deep conviction about how God can use CSB in the lives of boys and young men, born from a significant history with Brigade and Camp Teepee Pole.”

“The Board of Directors of CSB Canada recently asked Joel Fiscus to expand his ministry to include our staff north of the border. Joel is our National Field Staff Director and Director of Men's Ministry in the US, and will now serve in supporting, encouraging and equipping our Regional Directors in Canada.

“Joel has been part of CSB's ministry for most of his life, going through the program himself from Stockade through Battalion, achieving his Herald of Christ, then serving as a CSB leader, Brigade Chairman and in numerous CSB Camp roles. He has served for more than two-and-a-half decades as a pastor before recently accepting the call to helping us move forward as a staff team in the US and now throughout North America. Joel and his wife Deb live in Christiana, PA.”
