to Work at Work

Workshop Description:
Is your work something you do to put food on the table, a roof over your head, and clothes on your kids, or does your work hold greater significance than that? Get real, you may chide, my work isn’t important enough to possess any real significance. Says who? Certainly not God! The Bible clearly teaches that you were created to do what you do best, and God clearly called you to then do your best with what you do best. 
      This workshop, “Putting Your Faith To Work At Work,” will challenge your conventional thinking and help you develop a biblical theology of work that can transform how you view and approach your work.

Biography:
Dr. Rob Bedard serves as Director of Existing Leadership Enhancement for the British Columbia and Yukon District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He teaches part-time in the Masters in Leadership program at Trinity Western University. Rob has also authored two books, Close Encounters with Jesus and Mentor Me.
      Rob has coached hundreds of individuals and work teams using Birkman and CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) as a leadership and career coach and trainer. He has created “Wired for Work,” an individualized program designed to help youth, young adults, and adults in career transitions effectively discover how God has uniquely wired them for work.
