OPENING Keynote Speaker: 
Dave MacLean

    Wholehearted Men represents Dave MacLean’s passion to wholeheartedly lead so Christian men can wholeheartedly live.  Dave’s unique life and business experiences, and his dramatic, creative and passionate flair for communication have positioned him to help encourage, equip and inspire you to lead and live wholeheartedly.
    Dave believes that Jesus has asked all of us to give Him our whole life – not just part of it.  Therefore, “full-time ministry” is an attitude, not a position.  Dave sees himself as a “full-time minister” in the marketplace through his business.  His entrepreneurial endeavours are a means by which he loves God and loves people.
    In business, Dave is a Master Chair with The Executive Committee Canada (TEC) equipping CEOs, Entrepreneurs and Executives to maximize their professional and personal growth. In community service, Dave believes in the principle of “prosperity for purpose” and, therefore, has contributed his time, talent and treasure to non-profit organizations, including many churches, ministries and charitable organizations.
    Dave lives in Kelowna, BC.  He and his wife, Anne, have been married for over 35 years and have 2 adult sons.

CLOSING Keynote Speaker: 
Darren Young

    Since 2021, Darren is the President of Power to Change, an organization consisting of nine ministries, each one dedicated to helping people know Jesus and experience His power. These ministries include Athletes in Action, FamilyLife, P2C Students, and the Global Aid Network (GAiN).
    Darren served as the Lead Pastor for Town+Field Church in Langley B.C. for thirteen years. He has been involved in working with Church leadership across North America. As the President of Executive Leadership Solutions, he helped pioneer the launch of a premier leadership collaborative for large and leading churches.
    Darren’s calling is to serve as a leader, building relationships and shepherding people, working alongside leadership teams, and supporting organizational health. But his passion is to communicate the Gospel and his burden is for helping people know Jesus.
    Darren lives in Langley BC with his wife, Wendy, and their two sons.

Iron sharpens Iron returns to the Lower Mainland on Saturday, November 22, 2025. “ISI” is the annual “Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Conference” that has been happening in Metro Vancouver since 2012. Even during Covid, ISI became an online conference that continued to Build Godly Men.

This conference is designed for men of all ages – the man of the church (or the man stuck in the world); the husband, father, single guy; the layman, employee, ministry worker, the businessman; the pastor, church staff and volunteer; the man who just wants to assure himself to be worthy before his Lord and Saviour. The ISI conference provides opportunities for men to be “equipped” as Men of God.

Join us on Saturday, November 22 at Town+Field in Langley. Save the date in your calendar. We have our keynote speakers. David MacLean, the founder of Band of Brothers Bootcamp, will open, and Darren Young, the president of Power to Change, will close. We are busy inviting workshop hosts and ministries.

It would be good to see you there. In the meantime, please pray for us. Pray for the men. Pray for the churches and for their ministries to men. Pray for the conference speakers and workshop presenters.
