Search & Rescue-Seeking the Lost
|
Mission Objective: To have the Battalion use the profession of Search and Rescue to learn about the value of denying themselves in serving others, in rescuing the lost, and in attending to the needs of the injured. And to help young men appreciate the lengths that God takes to rescue everyone from an eternity of separation from Him.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS...
HANDOUTS: The handouts for this Mission are included at the back of the Leader's Guide. Photocopy them as needed.
VIDEOS: Though we have included some videos here, they are meant to be used outside of the meetings. There is already more than enough to do in each meeting; you don't have time to show a video... as tempting as that may be.

- How to track people in the bush HOW TO TRACK HUMANS IN THE BUSH. In this video I build on my previous video on the basics of tracking and discuss the principals of how to track people in the bush. If you know how to track humans in the bush it could help you to determine whether those who you're tracking are a threat to you. You can also track someone who has gotten lost or track people who have the resources that you need. Tracking humans can tell you a lot about the person who's spoor (signs) you are following.
