Men are essential to the growth of the church, yet men seem to be walking away. Covid has accelerated this. What can we do about the loss of this critical resource? Men's Ministry is a big part of the answer.
Men are essential to the growth of the church, yet men seem to be walking away. Covid has accelerated this. What can we do about the loss of this critical resource? Men's Ministry is a big part of the answer.

Bio: Howard loves men's ministry. Whether it's sitting around a table drinking coffee (and Howard hates the taste of coffee) or running around the church kitchen helping to make breakfast, Howard is in his element. The fellowship of men - all men: his elders, peers, juniors, teenage guys, and even growing boys - are a source of wisdom, support, and encouragement. Howard's been involved with ministry to men in some way for over 52 years. He's been part of his local church's Men's Ministry for 48 years. He has been discipled by older men. He now mentors younger men. Through the years, he's attended numerous men's conferences and training events. He has trained hundreds of men. He has led conferences, retreats and campouts. He is a member of the National Coalition of Ministries to Men (NCMM), the Iron Sharpens Iron Network (ISI), and has been associated with Impactus (Promise Keepers Canada) and Promise Keepers USA. He currently serves as the President of CSB Canada and of Christian Service Brigade - a men's ministry to the boys and young men of the local community.
Howard lives with his wife, Kathie, in Coquitlam BC. They have two married adult children, four grandsons and one precious granddaughter.
