Stockade Start-Up Resources
This page shows all the materials that your church may need to start a CSB Stockade program. Essential items are listed as “Essentials”, with those items needed immediately marked as “Start-Up Item”.
START-UP COSTS
When determining Start-Up Costs, be sure to decide who will pay for what items: the boy; the leader; or the Unit/church. Typically, boys will pay an annual registration fee to the church to cover the Program’s annual costs (CSB Registration, project supplies, badges and awards). They will pay an additional amount for their uniforms and Achievement books. Some churches cover the cost of the Achievement books, treating these materials as they would for Sunday School take-home resources. Leaders typically pay for their own uniforms, but the church often pays for training as this has extended benefits for other ministries within the church. Most Start-Up Items are paid for by the Unit/church. A special request to the men of the church may be made to cover these costs.
