- Pray for their daughter at university, and for their son looking for work.
- Pray for him that he will have clarity as he serves as Interim President.
- Pray for them as he continues to work with churches in Alberta and British Columbia. In addition, he is very actively involved in a number of national projects and with our American partners in many initiatives to enhance the ministry resources we wish to provide to churches and others.
Other Prayer Requests:
- Pray for Board Members of CSB Canada, Warren Hart, Art Maitland, Gord Lovegrove and Wayne King as they provide the overall leadership and determine the direction of the organization.
- Pray for our partners south of the border, particularly for Interim President, Dennis Thompson, and all the staff of CSB USA.
- Pray for the CSB International Weekly Prayer Team made up of staff and board members from Canada and the US.
Specific Prayer Requests:
- Pray for wisdom for a dear brother who is serving as the interim pastor at church in Ontario.
- Pray for two children being adopted, that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour and experience healing from their past trauma.
- Pray for an organic flour mill business start up, that God will lead and guide the building of the business for His glory.
- Pray for all of our Churches. We do not know our congregations anymore, who remains, who has left, or how many boys or potential leaders for CSB we may have. Some folks have decided to stay online for now. Pray that by fall COVID restrictions would all be removed and that churches would be able to revive their CSB by then.
- Pray for a spiritual revival in our nation starting with our churches, our Brigade groups, our communities, and our nation and its institutions.
- From a Board Member - When we think about building CSB, I want to remind us all of what we have seen God do with Iron Sharpens Iron in BC. What we saw Him do with Dr Chuck Stecker in BC. What we have seen Him do in our Units when we listen to Him. What He did with CSB in the 60’s and 70’s, He can do it again. When we step out in faith and look to Him to show us the way and provide for that way what ever it is. CSB Canada was planted by men stepping out in faith. I feel we need to do that again. We need to listen to God calling us and not fear but trust as He leads us. Knowing He will provide. I would remind us all to pray. Pray with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul.
- Like a lot of churches, we do not know our congregation anymore: who remains and who has left, or how many boys or potential leaders for CSB we may have. Some folks have decided to stay online for now. Some have left. I was hoping to know by the Fall, assuming COVID restrictions are removed, if we are able to revive CSB by then. We need Church revival as well as CSB here in our community.
