CSB Canada National day of Prayer 2023 Starting soon
The 2022 National Day of Prayer concluded in this way...
Praise the Lord! Our twenty four hours of dedicated intercession for the ministry of Christian Service Brigade across Canada has concluded for another year. And praise the Lord, He has encouraged us in so many ways. The staff of CSB have yet to come together to understand the extent of what God has done for us, but we saw at least four important prayer items answered during the day. There is work to be done and major goals to be attained, but God has given us the confidence to push forward. In fact, He has inspired us to establish a Prayer Team that will bring the needs of all of CSB, local to national, to God's Throne of Grace on a monthly basis. Praise the Lord!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lord. Thank you all.
Thank you, Lord, for being our Provider and Protector; for Calling us to do Your Will. Our prayer is that You will make us faithful in pursuing the tasks that You have given us.

Other Prayer Requests:
- Pray for Board Members of CSB Canada, Warren Hart, Art Maitland, Gord Lovegrove and Wayne King as they provide the overall leadership and determine the direction of the organization.
- Pray for our partners south of the border, particularly for Interim President, Dennis Thompson, and all the staff and board members of CSB USA.
- Pray for the CSB International Weekly Prayer Team made up of staff and board members from Canada and the US.
Specific Prayer Requests:
- Pray for wisdom for a dear brother who is serving as the interim pastor at church in Ontario.
- Pray for two children being adopted; that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour and experience healing from their past trauma.
- Pray for an organic flour mill business start up, that God will lead and guide the building of the business for His glory.
- Pray for all of the churches. Pray for one church in particular where the concern is that they do not know their congregation anymore, who remains, who has left, or how many boys or potential leaders for CSB they may have. Pray for those who have decided to stay online for now. Pray that by the fall COVID restrictions will all be removed and that churches would be able to revive their CSB Units by then.
- Pray for a spiritual revival in our nation starting with our own churches, the Brigade groups, our communities, and our nation and its institutions.
- From a Board Member - When we think about building CSB, I want to remind us all of what we have seen God do with Iron Sharpens Iron in BC. What we saw Him do with Dr Chuck Stecker in BC. What we have seen Him do in our Units when we listen to Him. What He did with CSB in the 60’s and 70’s, He can do it again. When we step out in faith and look to Him to show us the way and provide for that way what ever it is. CSB Canada was planted by men stepping out in faith. I feel we need to do that again. We need to listen to God calling us and not fear but trust as He leads us. Knowing He will provide. I would remind us all to pray. Pray with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul.
- Lord, we pray for our country and for a healing of the division that has become so evident in recent days.
- Lord, we pray for all churches, for the same division that has crept into them.
- Lord, we pray for the unity of Your people all across this country.
- Lord, we pray for a revival that causes repentance and results in healing as we truly seek You.
- Lord, we pray that CSB will serve in growing Your Kingdom by taking the Gospel of Christ to neighbourhoods across Canada.
- Amen, Lord. Amen!
