Mighty Men's is located in Nelson, BC, but their reach is all across Canada, and other nations with Angus Buchan.
The Mighty Men’s movement is a God-Phenomenon that began at farmer/evangelist Angus Buchan’s Shalom Farm in South Africa. Angus’s life is depicted in the film Faith Like Potatoes. He is the founder of the Mighty Men’s Conference movement, originating in South Africa in 2004, with 240 men attending the first MMC. In 7 years, this gathering grew to some 400,000 men, gathered for ‘MMC 2010’, on Shalom farm in South Africa. There are 14 MMC’s taking place in South Africa in 2023, and also in New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and here in Canada.
Angus will be joining us on the Big Screen, as he is not leaving South Africa this year for any MMC’s overseas. Jeff Zak will also be sharing. He and his wife, Marilyn, have been married for 39 years. They have six children and six grandchildren. Angus has mentored Jeff for 11 years. Jeff led the organization for MMC 2019, ‘It’s Time Canada’ and has led other MMC Digital events.
Bio: Jeff began work for the BC Corrections Branch as an officer, eventually becoming a pastor. Over the last 30 years, he has been a bi-vocational preacher, church planter, and evangelist in the Kootenays. He has gone on several short term missions to various nations. Jeff now pastors in New Denver, BC.
