These are unusual days, and in view of the uncertain impact of COVID-19, we have had to POSTPONE our IRON SHARPENS IRON One Day Men's Equipping Conference to November 28, 2020.
Your continued support of our network is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you after these troublesome days are over. In the meantime, please pray: for the world to see God's intervention in this; for this pandemic to be of minimal affect; for people to turn to God; for people to demand the truth by leaders and media; for the Church in your community to be engaged; for our brothers and sisters in the Lord to remain strong in Christ. Lord, we pray for Your mercy, Your strength and Your salvation. In Jesus' Name. Amen. |

Keynote Speakers (THESE MUST BE RECONFIRMED):
There are two keynote speakers at each Iron Sharpens Iron men's conference. The opening keynote brings us key concepts about masculinity as God defines it in His Word, the Holy Bible. The closing keynote tells us how the Lord changed him and made him the man he is when he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.
Our Opening Keynote WAS Dr John Neufeld... Dr. John Neufeld is a graduate of Columbia Bible Collee (Biblical Studies), the University of Saskatchewan (B.A.), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.).
Dr. John Neufeld joined Back to the Bible Canada after 30 years of serving in pastoral ministry, both as church planter and senior pastor. He is known both nationally and internationally for excellence in expositional Bible teaching. Prior to joining Back to the Bible Canada, Dr. Neufeld led one of the largest churches in Canada as Senior Pastor for 15 years. He has spoken widely at churches, conferences and seminars throughout North America, and internationally. He and his wife Kathy reside in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Together, they have three adult children and five grandchildren. Website: www.backtothebible.ca Our Closing Keynote WAS coach Chris Boyko...
Chris Boyko, first and foremost, is a soldier in God's Kingdom, and Jesus is his commanding officer. This was realized in late 2010 when following his own path ended in total destruction bringing him to his knees crying out to God. He is entering his 13th year as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Fascial Stretch Specialist for the BC Lions Football Club, where he prepares the bodies, minds & spirits of the players for service on and off the football battlefield. Chris is also a coach for the Langley Mustang Track & Field Club where his focus is coaching and mentoring the younger generation of athletes. He firmly believes in training up a child in the way they should go. Chris is a former football player, Muay Thai fighter and natural body builder. He represents the Langley Mustangs Track Club as a masters sprinter, still preparing for that perfect race, in life and on the track. Chris is currently a student at Trinity Western University where he is majoring in Leadership. By the grace of God, Chris is married to Lonette and is dad to their two beautiful daughters.

Seminars - These will be listed shortly, but in the meantime...
As men of God, we want to do something, so while our seminars provide encouragement, instruction, equipping, and some admonition, they must also include a call to action. I don't want to attend a men's conference and simply come away feeling good. I want to find God feeding into my life. I want the Holy Spirit working on me to get out there and do something important for the Kingdom of God. I've had enough of my own happy thoughts and empty ambitions to last me a lifetime. So Lord, as we finalize these seminars, help us all to focus on what WE can do for YOU, our God and King. Build us, Lord, so that we can build others. Turn our plans into action. Amen.
And, being an honest-to-goodness Prayer Warrior is a huge calling. And, while you don't need much to fight in that arena, being spiritually-equipped really does help.
