TOUGH GUYS is Christ-centred fun. It is also an opportunity to get into the outdoors and celebrate all the good things God has given us.

Tough guys is open to any church and its men and boys.

Tough Guys 2022 is in the planning stages!
Looking back at our last IN-PERSON campout....
It sure was nice when the Lord gave us three beautiful rain-free days. It was just perfect for the canoeing, Obstacle Course and the King's Feast. And our fellowship in Christ Jesus was fantastic. Each church had its own campsites nicely grouped together near the washhouse. This allowed each group to enjoy their own activities, cooking and campfires - Manhunt was a big favourite. Over the weekend, there were activities for the entire camp: hikes; canoeing; polar bear swim; Obstacle Course; Shield construction; Knights Feast; council fires with worship and a special speaker. Guys could join in as they wish. We were blessed.
This year will be different. Our plans must remain flexible.

MAKE YOUR OWN SHIELD
We will be making shields out of corrugated plastic sheeting, duct tape, and paint at the campout. A good example of cardboard shields is found at: www.stormthecastle.com/how-to-make-a/how-to-make-cardboard-shields.htm

The Obstacle Course is back. After a two-year absence, this popular race for men and boys has returned with new challenges. We are also working hard to get canoeing back, either at Mike Lake, where the wind isn't an issue, or on Alouette using several canoe carriers.
New for this year is a medieval knights theme. This harkens back to the early days of CSB when the boys' Achievement was all about becoming a Knight for the Lord Jesus.
Also new will be the construction of a shield for each boy. We will be using corrugated plastic 16" x 24" (making sure that the corrugations go from side-to-side), spray paint, duct tape and bailing wire - manly materials.

We will add further details as they develop. We are looking forward to a full camp. Be sure to check back here as we nail things down.

COST per Guy:
$35 for the weekend $20 for Saturday only.

Back to the USUAL LOCATION:
We have our sites reserved in the Alouette Campground, at the far end with lots of privacy and freedom.

We left Old Buck at home last year, but he's anxious to get reacquainted with the boys. He may be old old, but he's eager to give the boys the ride of a lifetime.
